MJs inductions video probably did trump them due to his crying. Stockton only cried when he mentioned his dead mother. Honestly, I wasn't expecting MJs to be very good at first, he seemed to be downplaying the relevancy of his accomplishment at first. But yeah, he definately hit this one out of the ballpark. I'm gonna miss him being a public figure, I hope he steps up into a more public role on the Bobcats soon.

Although I don't look forward to the day I play Durant's induction video (I'll be around....40 tears old?), I do look forward to starting the regular blogging thing again. Although there are some nights where I really don't want to do anything, 75% of the time, it's a fun experience. And, I'm really tired of our blog page looking abandoned, but to be honest, there's just been zero Thunder news out there. This time last year, we were abuzz with specifics on what the team would do, what their name would be, and such, but this year, everything is a known, and the sports pages are taken up by things like OU Football again. - Zorgon

MJS,

Which are you referring to? The videos or the "Lay-up guy"?

I had some technical difficulties when the post was first published and the videos were not showing up. They're fine now.

Lay-up guy is a .gif on my "Your Home Court" widget on the left-hand-side of the blog. - Points in the Paint

Zorgy,

I guess,in a way, MJ trumps EVERYONE. There was no reason for him not to do the same in Speech writing and delivery. Good stuff, indeed. The tears kind of helped add to the air of the drama of it all. MJ = GOAT.

I can't wait for 20 years from now, when you play Durant's induction video on your blog! He's kinda the Thunder's GOAT, I suppose. I'm looking forward to your soon-to-come podcasts.

P.S. I'm glad "Bob, the lay-up guy" made your day. Someone's gotta put up those Points in my Paint! LOL! - Points in the Paint

But nothing compared to Jordans. I don't know, maybe it was just the mystique of Jordan finally being out of the game, but I thought his just totally blew theirs out of the water. I mean, he would blow me out of the water if I had to speak before him. Nevertheless, Robinson and Stockton both made great speeches, something they never got to do as players, so it was pretty special. Both class acts and great guys.

But why watch the speeches when I can watch that guy in the upper left hand corner of your site makes layups all day? Look at that guy go! - Zorgon
